This was an experiment further into hard surface modelling - I spent too much time admiring everyone else's obligatory 'sci-fi headshot' artworks and decided to make my own. This was the result.
3D-Coat was used for the base head sculpt (with some basic extrusions). Blender was used to add more detailed extrusions from the head, as well as create the structure for the collar/neck. Marvelous Designer was used for the hood (partially inspired by Destiny). Unity was used for composition / particle effects and rendering. Sketchbook Pro was used for final edits.
